Layout
Section titled “Layout”The layout view lets you run auto layout without leaving the keyboard workflow.
Design Systems
Section titled “Design Systems”This view is used to manage reusable visual styling choices for the canvas.
Why use it instead of clicking around
Section titled “Why use it instead of clicking around”Use the Command Center when:
- you are working on a laptop and want minimal pointer travel
- the canvas is crowded and the toolbar is slower than search
- you want to switch directly into AI or code editing
- you want to insert assets in batches
Recommended habit
Section titled “Recommended habit”Treat the Command Center as the default launcher, not a secondary shortcut. In daily use it becomes the fastest path to most non-drag operations.
1. Templates
Section titled “1. Templates”Don’t start from scratch. Access a library of pre-built diagrams:
- AWS Architecture Patterns
- User Journey Maps
- Database Schemas
- Organizational Charts
2. Design System / Visuals
Section titled “2. Design System / Visuals”Access a library of assets to enhance your diagram:
- Wireframes: Drag and drop low-fidelity UI components (Buttons, Inputs, Modals) to build quick mockups.
- Icons: Search and insert any icon as a standalone node.
3. AI Copilot
Section titled “3. AI Copilot”The text input in the Command Center is your direct line to our AI engine. Type what you want to build, and hitting Enter generates it instantly.
4. Layout & Tools
Section titled “4. Layout & Tools”Quickly access utility functions:
- Auto Layout: Re-organize the chaos.
- Reset View: Jump back to center.
- Format Code: Clean up your DSL.
